Yet, as the odd arachnid moves closer to the forefront, and the crimson-liquid-filled globe it carries underneath becomes distinguishable, the creature is likely to ring a few bells from viewers who recognize it as one of the myriad monsters seen in Jabba the Hutt’s palace in 1983’s Return of the Jedi....
Kate Mulgrew Returns For Star Trek: Prodigy Mulgrew will be a main cast member in Prodigy, which follows a “motley crew of young aliens” who find an abandoned starship and must learn how to work together as they search for adventure in the Delta Quadrant. Mulgrew will be playing the starship’s Emergency Training Hologram, aka a holographic version of Captain Janeway. “Five kids are incarcerated on an obscure planet in an uncharted part of the galaxy,” Mulgrew explained last month during San Diego Comic-Con@Home’s “Star Trek” Universe panel, giving some more insight into the series’ story....

It’s the kind of grotesque imagery that Disney executives have dreaded for decades: a beloved piece of pop culture Americana (and Walt Disney intellectual property) entering the public domain and being transformed into horror shock and veritable schlock....

In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Project Insight gave SHIELD the ability to rain death from above on any target it chooses. Traditionally, Bethesda RPGs don’t officially offer any kind of multiplayer mode. While the company has turned some of its RPGs into multiplayer titles via spin-offs (Fallout 76 and The Elder Scrolls Online), those base RPG experiences are generally built on the idea that you are the star of your own journey. Honestly, there are very good reasons to doubt that Bethesda’s game engine could even properly support a multiplayer experience that wouldn’t force them to drastically compromise the scale and design of their RPGs....

Don’t be fooled either, the death rattle is already being heard, it’s simply that Sheridan wants to put a megaphone in front of it so it quakes anyone within earshot....
Young Justice Outsiders Episode 18 So far since its return, Young Justice has done a great job of packing a lot into each episode without feeling overdone. That kind of ended here, but the show is so consistently good that when it drops a mediocre episode, it’s still highly entertaining and does a solid job of moving the story forward. But since I’ve been fawning over it so much, let’s start with the bad....
Young Justice Season 3 Episode 21 For a couple of weeks now, Young Justice: Outsiders has felt like they were trying to do too much but getting away with it. That is not the case with “Unknown Factors.” This episode is where they stop getting away with it. Weirdly enough, we’re running fewer plots than normal this week. After last episode’s revelation about Granny Goodness being part of the war in space, Nightwing and Black Lightning bring their loaner motherbox and go to her penthouse to check it out....
And yet, the debate rages on. And it’s a debate that will be once again opened up when Zack Snyder’s Justice League arrives on HBO Max in March. Snyder has filmed brand new footage with Leto as the Joker for the film. Not only that, his Joker has a new, albeit more traditional look than he boasted in Suicide Squad. Snyder explained his reasoning for including the character, along with a reveal of Leto’s new, yet more traditional, look as the Joker....
With all 17 of the studio’s 2021 movies suddenly heading to HBO Max, everyone from outraged US theater owners to Tenet helmer Christopher Nolan reacted to the move, which was not mirrored by rival studio Disney during their recent Investors Day. Now, Justice League director Zack Snyder, who has recently been welcomed back into the fold at Warner Bros. with open arms, has also weighed in on the decision. Snyder has already committed to streaming his cut of the maligned 2017 DC team-up film in several parts on HBO Max next year, but is also hoping to release the mammoth endeavor theatrically....
