Chief among these new AAA projects is a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, which is reportedly being handled by Virtuos, the studio largely known for Switch ports of titles like Dark Souls Remastered, The Outer Worlds, and The BioShock Collection, as well as for its support work on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Uncharted 4....

Legends of Tomorrow Season 6, Episode 11 Six seasons into its run, Legends of Tomorrow is somehow a series that still manages to surprise us. Few other shows are still taking risks in the way that this little weirdo saga of time traveling space misfits attempts, fusing bonkers narrative plots with rich character dynamics that ultimately create something entirely unique in the superhero television landscape. For instance, Season 6 Episode 11, “The Final Frame,” is technically a story about the apocalypse (maybe), just played out at a seedy, semi-desolate bowling alley at the end of time, in which a cutthroat league team delights in playing for the future of entire planets and forcing the losers to spend eternity in a trophy case....

In this state of high-alert vigilance, Line of Duty fans trust nothing and nobody. Worse than that: we start to listen out for the next loud bang, trying to anticipate where the next shock will come from. That leads, inevitably, to nonsense. Nonsense like the popular but spurious fan theory last series that Rochenda Sandall’s character Lisa McQueen would turn out to be the secret love child of series one characters DCI Tony Gates and murder victim Jackie Laverty....

Throughout Lost Ark, players can collect a library of melodies that essentially act like extra skills. Some teleport characters to set locations, while others may open hidden passages. It’s a musical mechanic similar to the one seen in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (or, more accurately, Majora’s Mask since each class sports its own instrument). Many songs are earned naturally by progressing through the game’s story, but others require a bit more work....

Now Wan has returned to his roots with Malignant, not just the first horror movie he’s directed since 2016’s The Conjuring 2 but his first all-new, original outing in the genre since the first Conjuring back in 2013. And while the film does contain a number of Wan trademarks—incredible sound design and music, the suffocating use of negative space giving way to sudden shocks—Malignant is also a different beast again from the torture-driven procedural he initiated with Saw, the dark fantasia of Insidious, and the spiritual hauntings of the Conjuring series....

Briefly muting the chorus of voices screaming “legit” or “fake” is probably a requirement here, as it is with most “leaks” that make their way online. Marvel has been known to tinker with things right up until the last minute, so even some of the real concept art we eventually get to clap our eyes on doesn’t typically fit the mould of what we end up getting. This new “leak”, which was supposedly offered to a toy manufacturer by Marvel, gives us a fuzzy peek at two of its upcoming Disney+ series, Ms....

The episode opens with Dan Slott, writer of a near-record 180 issues of Spider-Man comics, and currently Marvel’s Fantastic Four writer, sitting down with 12 weeks of lead time to write his first issue of Iron Man 2020. The writer gets one sentence into the script before being distracted by a Twitter notification. The episode goes on to detail the painstaking process that the Marvel team undergoes to put the first issue of Iron Man 2020 on shelves....

IGN and other outlets recently got the chance to try out Marvel’s Avengers‘ Spider-Man: With Great Power DLC, and initial impressions aren’t…great. Not only will Spider-Man not be getting his own story missions as part of the upcoming DLC, but his story will be told through a series of audio logs and brief cutscenes that you will unlock via Avengers Initiative multiplayer missions. That makes it closer to the “Hero Event” updates that introduced Kate Bishop and Hawkeye rather than the game’s massive Black Panther DLC....
