Kate was presumed dead after the plane crash, then thought to be Safiyah’s captive, then presumed dead again, until it was ultimately revealed that she was brainwashed by Roman Sionis to believe she was his late daughter, Circe. Ryan and Alice confronted Circe and were able to dose her with aerosolized Snakebite, which finally brought Kate back....

As one might say after watching any of Sarah Phelps’ brilliantly nasty Agatha Christie adaptations for the BBC, well that wasn’t all cakes, vicars and contract bridge. Two-part drama The Pale Horse was a heady, grimy, occult-tinged story about one man who killed for money and another who did it out of possessive, jealous anger. Gilligan and his Bad and Saul writers (including Saul showrunner Peter Gould) take an engineer’s approach to crafting their series. When characters are presented with problems, the show makes sure they go about solving them in as realistic and detailed a way as possible. That appreciation for realism and detail carries over into Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul’s approach to time....

Call of Duty: Warzone‘s surprising (but much-needed) Season 2 Reloaded update includes quite a few weapon additions, buffs, and nerfs that once again have players scrambling to find the absolute best guns in the game. Cobra Kai has been one heck of a ride. Counterpart Season 1 Episode 4 With the focus on the Howards in this week’s episode of Counterpart, aptly named “Both Sides Now,” the possibilities for growth on both sides of the Crossing increase, and the audience is totally along for the ride. It’s no longer just a question of what could have been but also what could be, especially with the nicer but meeker Howard gaining confidence. And although the conspiracy plot is still tantalizingly vague, small details are added to the mix that really make us start to wonder what the Prime contingent is really up to....

Indeed, the awards body has showered nominations on multiple films including popular mainstream entertainments like Dune.
