To be fair, much of that trailer is perfectly wholesome superhero fun. We see young high school student Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), getting his superhero sealegs, and learning how to fly just like his super-powered dad Nolan (J.K. Simmons). We also get to see plenty of colorfully costumed heroes and equally vibrant villains in action. That’s not even to mention the brief moments of Mark’s time in high school. His friend William Clockwell (Andrew Rannells) wants to catch a flight with Mark, and who can blame him for asking?...

The stakes have changed with Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous season 2, moving from the frantic “get off the island before the ferry leaves” pacing of the first season to a survival-oriented, mystery-solving season where the dinosaurs get some kinder treatment. If you missed Season 1 but are familiar with the legacy of Jurassic Park, you are probably aware that the series revolves around a theme park with genetically engineered dinosaurs....

The third season of the Netflix and DreamWorks animated series Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous pits the teenaged main characters against the Scorpius rex, a hybrid dinosaur like nothing they’ve ever dealt with before. They successfully defeat her, while simultaneously thwarting an attempt by Dr. Henry Wu to retrieve his research on the hybrids and dealing with the emotional impact of leaving their new found family. This season has a good amount of references to the rest of the franchise, like we have come to expect from the show, and in the final seconds teases the possibility of a fourth season....

Knightfall Episode 6 Now this is more like it. Knightfall has been slowly finding its footing during its freshman season, but tonight’s episode takes the show to a new level of excellence that will hopefully continue through to the finale. Focusing on Landry’s developing relationship with the Saracens and Isabella’s exposure of William De Nogaret, “The Pilgrimage of Chains” ramps up the political intrigue and brings the quest for the Holy Grail back to the narrative forefront....

Legion Season 3 Episode 3 We were never supposed to get Charles Xavier on Legion. When the show was developed, FX and Fox made it quite clear that though a passing reference may be made to David’s famous mutant father, the character was unlikely to appear on screen. In Fox’s eyes, having Patrick Stewart or James McAvoy appear as Professor X on the FX series would only further muddle the already complicated X-Men timeline, and Noah Hawley’s wigged out vision for his series didn’t quite align with their prized X-Men franchise cash cow, so having another actor portray one of the principal leads of their series wouldn’t be preferable either....

So far as that goes, there are a lot of factors to consider. Not only is Lost Ark a pretty well-balanced game, but it’s designed to encourage a variety of playstyles and class creativity. The best thing you can do is experiment with the various classes and their available builds. In fact, we probably won’t know what the absolute best builds in the game are until Western audiences have had the chance to experiment with this version of the title and see how that meta shakes out....

Lucifer Season 3 Episode 3 Despite the fact that it appears Fox is back to its old tricks of airing episodes out of their intended order, the triumphant return of Lesley-Ann Brandt’s bounty hunting demon Mazikeen manages to earn the network a pass. “Mr. and Mrs. Mazikeen Smith” provides a magnificent vehicle for Brandt to “burn bright” as one of genre television’s most delightful supporting characters while learning a valuable lesson about her life’s true purpose....
