BOOM! Studios announced that HBO Max picked up the rights to the comic with a script-to-series order. Co-creator Stevenson, the creator and showrunner of Netflix’s She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, is attached as showrunner and executive producer. The comic follows friends Ripley, Molly, April, Jo, and Mal, attendees of the Miss Quinzella Thiskwin Penniquiqul Thistle Crumpet’s Camp for Hardcore Lady Types. They discover that there’s more to their camp than meets the eye, and spend the rest of their summer discovering secrets about their camp, the area around it, and building he kind of durable, long-lasting friendships that come from solving life threatening mysteries together....
