“Daniel Craig is ready to revive his southern accent. The score itself is really rather lovely and sits very nicely alongside Howard Shore’s scores for the six Peter Jackson movies set in Middle-earth. Bear McCreary, the composer for Outlander, is a great choice for this job. His Outlander score incorporates Scottish and Celtic folk music beautifully into a fantasy drama score, as you might expect for a series about an 18th century Highland community. This makes him a perfect match for The Rings of Power, as Howard Shore was heavily inspired by Celtic music in his work on the films....

So Black Widow finally rectified that when it was slated to be both Marvel and Disney’s biggest spectacle at the cinema that summer. And technically, it was, opening with $80.4 million domestic in its first weekend, the biggest of any film during the pandemic up to that point. And yet, it also was notably a lot less than other Marvel movies starring one of the core Avengers characters—films like Thor: Ragnarok, which opened at $122....

It seems that at some point during his adventure, Miles Morales will be tasked with rescuing a local bodega cat who, for unknown reasons we won’t pry into in accordance with the laws that dictate our ability to interfere with the business of bodega cats, has found himself trapped in a warehouse full of thugs. In any case, Morales soon dispatches of the cat threatening fiends and escorts the cat in a backpack to safety....

Ulliel, who made his feature film debut in 2001’s The Brotherhood of the Wolf but was perhaps best known to American audiences as a young Hannibal Lecter in the 2007 film Hannibal Rising, was tragically killed at the age of 37 on January 18, 2022 in a skiing accident in Savoie, France. One of the subsets of detective fiction, the whodunit, remains almost interchangeable with the genre itself and one of its most popular variations. For those who have never heard of the game, Naraka: Bladepoint is essentially a cross between a battle royale and a hero shooter. As is pretty much standard in the battle royale genre, each match consists of 60 players dropping onto an expansive map and fighting each other while trying to stay inside of an ever-shrinking safe zone. Unlike other battle royales, though, Naraka: Bladepoint is built around a surprisingly elaborate melee combat system....
