According to studio estimates, the Taika Waititi-directed Thor: Love and Thunder is poised to total about $143 million at the domestic box office this weekend. Titans Season 2 Episode 3 Reunited, and it feels … mostly good. For the third episode of Titans season 2, “Ghosts,” most of our heroes converge on Titans Tower in San Francisco for an interesting character examination, and not-so-bottled tension. Something deeper, something more meaningful, called to him. William knew it as the maze, and all he wanted was to find his way to the center of it any way he could. Usually, especially as he aged into the Man In Black, that meant violence....

“The peace you’ve always wanted, but never had.” According to Taweret, Marc Spector achieved that state when he arrived in the Sea of Reeds in the afterlife. But those words seem like a better description of Marc and Steven at the end of the series finale. The two identities seem to have integrated, and wake up in Steven’s bed, ready to live their lives anew (seemingly unperturbed by the dead bodies surrounding them whenever they blackout)....

Episode 6 of Marvel’s What If…?, entitled “What If… Killmonger Rescued Tony Stark?”, might be the flattest episode to come out of the series so far, but it at least works in the way the other Disney+ Marvel shows work. It takes a character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe who didn’t get quite enough time in the spotlight and gives us more. In this case, it’s the charismatic Black Panther villain Erik “Killmonger” Stevens....
