But if Lost in Translation was a faintly autobiographical effort about a young woman in a doomed marriage trying to find herself in a strange city, with Murray’s character acting as a catalyst, then On the Rocks literally places itself closer to home....

Oftentimes in entertainment the oddest teams make the most compelling stories. When Hulu released the first three episodes of their new original series Only Murders in the Building last week, most people tuned in because they were intrigued by the prospect of seeing Martin Short, Steve Martin, and Selena Gomez combine their talents to take on the well-worn comedy/mystery genre. Snowpiercer Season 2 Episode 10 For the fifth time in the history of the show, the titular train of Snowpiercer finds itself under new ownership. Wilford built the thing, and then Melanie (Jennifer Connelly) stole it. She ran it successfully for 7 years, until it was taken over by Layton (Daveed Diggs). Layton’s tenure was not nearly as successful, because a returning Mr. Wilford (Sean Bean) hooked up to the tail end of Snowpiercer and took the thing back over, sending Layton and Ruth (Alison Wright) to the compost heap for their troubles....

During the series’ appearance at the socially-distanced 2020 New York Comic Con, TNT announced a release date for Snowpiercer season 2…and the network is probably hoping that the political and social landscape will be a little more chill when the show arrives this time around. Snowpiercer’s second season will launch on Monday, Jan. 25 at 9 p.m. ET on TNT. Additionally, all 10 episodes of the show’s first season will be available to stream on HBO Max on Jan....
