MultiVersus may still technically be in its beta period, but the game is quickly expanding its library of playable characters. Netflix’s take on Resident Evil is unlike any other adaptation of the long-running game series. Not just in its change of format but in its approach to blending the franchise’s zombie-ridden world with a semi real-world setting in which everyday conversations run the gamut from Covid-19 to Dua Lipa. It’s a strange cocktail of a show that can be patchy and imbalanced at times, and yet oddly fun, irreverent, and surprising as well....
Having said that, this is an MMO we’re talking about, and even in New World‘s earliest days, it’s already becoming clear that there are a select few “class” builds that are at least comfortably among the best available options. So while we’re happy to share some of the best New World builds that players have found so far, keep in mind that this is still a very young game and we won’t know what the most powerful overall options are until the meta settles sometime down the line....
