Tonight we learn that Lucifer has been wrong all along, and it takes Charlotte’s devastating death to drive home that point. Now that he’s got the girl, can Lucifer once and for all accept that he alone determines how his life unfolds, and that his Father’s manipulations may, in fact, be all in his imagination?...

Hell, I even had an editor once who made me change the title of a novel because she said people would mistake it for some more of that teen vampire crap....

Oh, Loki. You’re always on the ground floor when it comes to meeting major Marvel movie threats. Kang the Conqueror Much of the episode borrows from The Matrix Reloaded and the meeting between Neo and the Architect. Loki and Sylvie visit the citadel at the end of time, only to be greeted by He Who Remains, as played by Jonathan Majors. The energetic enigma never says his real name, but does refer to himself as a “conqueror....

The different phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe seem to break up the existence of the Avengers as a group. Phase 1 was about building the Avengers into a team, culminating in them assembling and saving the world. Phase 2 was about the Avengers fortifying their world to the point that everyone seemed to be on the cusp of a happy ending…until Ultron happened. Phase 3 was about the repeated destruction of the Avengers, starting with political differences, then going to personal anger, being discarded by an alien threat they weren’t ready for, being reduced to ash by a cosmic wish, and finally being shattered by their greatest victory....

Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales tells an epic but personal story over the course of its approximately 15-hour campaign, which ends in explosive fashion, with Miles bidding farewell to his tragically misguided best friend Phin Mason/The Tinkerer high above Roxxon Plaza when she gives her life to set right all the reckless things she did in her revenge crusade against the evil tech corporation. It’s a great game in and of itself, but it’s also a part of the larger Spidey-verse that Insomniac is building with its Marvel games, with references to Peter’s own story arc subtly interwoven throughout Miles’ journey — there’s an Otto Octavius flashback cameo, the phone call with Wilson Fisk, Peter’s memory-lane training holograms, just to name a few....

We still need to wait until 2023 before we get to see Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang and Evangeline Lilly’s Hope van Dyne back in action in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, but Marvel is giving Ant-Man fans reason to celebrate in June of 2022! Marvel Comics has announced a special 4-issue miniseries to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Ant-Man’s first appearance in 1962’s Tales to Astonish #35. Written by Al Ewing (The Immortal Hulk) with art by Tom Reilly (The Thing), Ant-Man promises to dig into the hero’s legacy by looking at each of the men who have carried the title....

Well, at the risk of negating the rest of this article, the fact of the matter is that the right decision in just about every game with a morality system is the one that feels right to you or the one that simply excites you most. Any reasonably well-designed morality system should encourage you to make split-second decisions based on your own moral compass, and, for the most part, Mass Effect does just that....

While Monster Hunter Rise doesn’t make you commit to your starting weapon for the entire game, choosing the right weapon for you can make all the difference. That’s especially true if Rise is your first Monster Hunter game and you really want to give yourself a chance to become absorbed in its charms rather than frustrated by its complexities. So which Monster Hunter Rise weapon should you choose? Only you can really answer that, but here’s an overview of what each weapon type has to offer that should make one of the most difficult decisions in Monster Hunter just a bit easier....

If you’re new to Monster Hunter and Rise is your first time exploring this series, then you’ll likely be blown away by both the creative design of the game’s monsters and the sheer number of them spread throughout the title’s sizeable world. While Rise doesn’t feature nearly as many monsters as some of the franchise’s older handheld installments, we doubt that even longtime veterans will find a lot to complain about once you see the quality of Rise‘s new monsters and how well they work alongside some of the series’ returning favorites....

Now it’s John Rambo’s turn. The First Blood protagonist will hit Mortal Kombat 11 alongside Rain and Mileena. While we thought Rambo’s teaser announcement trailer from earlier this month would be all we’d see of the action hero in the game, we’ve learned that NOTHING IS OVER! NOTHING! YOU DON’T JUST TURN IT OFF! Sorry. Although the character won’t be available until Nov. 17, NetherRealm Studios has released our first look at Rambo in action in the fighting game....

Ms. Marvel Episode 6 For anyone who was waiting for Ms. Marvel to finally confirm that Kamala Khan was Inhuman after seeing Anson Mount’s Black Bolt pop up in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the show had a surprise in store that will likely keep fans talking for quite a while, because the MCU has decided that Kamala is the first step towards introducing the X-Men into the main timeline instead....

According to the trailer above, Lupin Season 2 will drop on June 11th, and will see the gentleman thief looking for Raoul and working to enact his revenge against Hubert Pellegrini. Unfortunately, Assane has some serious obstacles, including the fact that he is “the most wanted man in France,” according to the news report in the trailer. The official description for Lupin Part 2 gives us further detail, teasing: “Pursued by Hubert and his henchmen, Assane scrambles to find Raoul and wins an unlikely new ally as he draws up a grand plan to reveal Hubert’s crimes....

Earlier this week, I got another chance to go hands-on with an alpha version of the game, and this time I explored a new region called Reekwater, a swampy, bayou-inspired zone that introduces new creatures and a robust fishing mechanic. At virtually any body of water, you can pull out a fishing rod, attach bait to your hook if you’ve got it, and cast a line in hopes of catching one of the game’s 40-plus different species of fish....

Originally announced back in 2018 for Syfy, the series will presumably focus, like the movie, on Midian, an underground world where outcast creatures and human/monster hybrids attempt to live in peace out of sight of the world above. The original movie was a box office and critical disappointment but has gained a cult following over the years. Nightbreed was based on Barker’s 1988 novella Cabal and was the author’s second directorial effort after he made Hellraiser in 1987....

For the primary “hero” (and massive stoner) Ulysses (Avan Jogia) that dream is true love. For his roommate Ford, played by Beau Mirchoff, an acceptable endgame is a fruitful writing career. Ford’s partner, the mystifying Severine (Roxane Mesquida), bends relationship expectations while hunting for scientific success. The trio’s uninhibited friend Carly (Kelli Berglund), like countless others in Los Angeles, simply wants to be a well-known actor. Director and writer Gregg Araki’s TV foray draws upon his successes in indie filmmaking, notably from his groundbreaking and proudly queer titles Totally Fucked Up, The Doom Generation and Nowhere....

“The Battle Joined” is another impressive addition to Outlander TV show canon, especially the episode’s opening minutes, which I went into detail about here. For a show that plays so gleefully with time, the story picks back up not so long after the 18th century events of the season finale and stays tight on Jamie as he deals with the horrific aftermath of the Battle of Culloden. While so many shows use plot twists to increase suspense, Outlander uses emotion to do the same to much greater, more consistent effect....

That’s all great, but we know you’re here to see when you’ll actually be able to play Outriders. The answer to that question is surprisingly complicated. Square Enix and developer People Can Fly are utilizing a somewhat strange release structure for Outriders, which means that you’re going to have to keep an eye on the clock (and probably do a little math) if you’re looking to start playing the game as soon as possible....

Veteran Overwatch heroes Bastion and Torbjörn are currently “missing” from Overwatch 2, and fans are starting to go mad looking for any indication of when they will fully return to the game. Bastion and Torbjörn’s mysterious absence has been complicated by Overwatch 2‘s many bugs and generally rough launch. At first, fans suspected that the missing heroes were simply suffering from yet another Overwatch 2 bug. While that does seem to be part of the problem, the full story regarding the missing heroes paints a slightly different (and very confusing) picture....
