Now, with this past January’s Season 3 having made it into one of the most-watched shows on the world’s biggest streaming platform, Cobra Kai‘s fans are frothing in anticipation for news of any kind....

Somehow, Crisis on Infinite Earths is three hours in and it has exceeded expectations in every single one of them. The biggest Arrowverse crossover of them all has been an astonishing translation of the original comic book mega-crossover. And it’s given us three really good episodes of the shows the crossover is jumping between. But with the conclusion of “Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 3” on The Flash, the crossover is now put on pause for a month, and it dropped some giant bombs on its way out the door....

Which is not to say that Cry Macho doesn’t have heart; it does, almost too much of it, with the movie’s uneven script and performances treading dangerously close to contrived sentimentality. But the movie’s slack pacing and overall low stakes vibe prevent the characters from truly earning the emotional moments we’re clearly supposed to respond to, leaving this an intermittently entertaining but rather superficial affair. Eastwood stars as Mike Milo, a one-time rodeo star and top horse trainer whose life and career have taken a severe downturn over the decades thanks to personal tragedy, alcohol addiction, and physical injury....

That’s mainly because it was fun, with ornate sets and design, a glittering all-star cast, and Branagh–complete with an outrageous Belgian accent and an even more outlandish waxed sculpture of a mustache that arguably stole the movie–chewed into the role of Christie’s famed detective Hercule Poirot with gusto. It was a romp, and the old-timey puzzle-box nature of the whole thing made it a nice change of pace from the usual fare....

Fargo Season 4 Episode 8 Chatter is an essential part of Fargo’s appeal. The long speeches, filled with five-point words and specificity that good actors can make really make a meal of, has always been an essential part of the show’s DNA. However, this season’s monologues have started to fizzle, bogged down by repetitive themes and obvious allegories. Fargo’s talkativeness has somehow become a weak point in season 4, so much so that I’ve been longing for some big action set-pieces to shake things up....
