Actually, the fact that New Pokémon Snap resembles the original in so many ways stands as a testament to the quality of its predecessor and how its simple (but lovable) concepts have aged so well over the years. Yet, the thing that has impressed me most about Multiversus is the way its developers have managed to jam so many characters from so many different properties together without turning the whole thing into a dystopian reminder of the fact that WB essentially controls the rights to so much of our nostalgia. Executive produced by Timm, the film reunites Kevin Conroy, Susan Eisenberg, and George Newbern to voice, respectively, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman – roles for which their performances are definitive. Visually the movie also looks like the Justice League Unlimited animation style, complete with character Easter eggs that call back to heroes (and a couple Arkham inmates) of the classic Justice League and Batman: TAS. But the film does not appear to exist within the DC Animated Universe continuity, and actually eschews the characters’ previous history with some of the characters....

Killjoys Season 3 Episode 10 “Let’s go see a bitch about a war.” The Hullen-centric Killjoys rollercoaster ride continues, and despite the fact that there’s a wealth of story still to mull over, the wait for next summer already feels interminable. The conceit of Lightyear, this year’s soft-boiled sci-fi animated film from Pixar, is that in 1995, Andy from Toy Story had a favorite film—and Lightyear is that film.
