Walking into Knives Out, a delightful murder mystery as fun as it is clever, you’d be forgiven for thinking the “it” in the “whodunnit” framework refers to the apparent murder at the center of the film’s promotional material. Sure, Harlan Thrombey’s (Christopher Plummer) death the night of his 85th birthday party drives the plot, but that’s not the “it” director and writer Rian Johnson is most interested in dissecting. Instead Johnson turns his masterful lens on a different crime: the sense of entitlement and abuse of power that grow from unchecked privilege....

Nintendo capped off their latest Direct presentation by revealing a new trailer for the next Zelda game. While virtually everyone expected that game to cap off the latest Direct showcase, few expected that the project’s next trailer would finally reveal the project’s full title: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Legends of Tomorrow Season 7 Episode 7 I don’t know that any DC show has ever had the kind of run that Legends of Tomorrow is on. We’ve reached the midseason finale, at about the midpoint of an odd season – going by COVID-adjusted production and air schedules, this feels more like a season 6.5, even if season 7 has its own distinct identity and vibe. But at this point in the season, it’s incredible that not only have we not had a bad episode, we haven’t even had a mediocre one....
