Still, nothing’s ever that easy, is it? Though Lucifer repeatedly contends angels can’t father children, his brother Amenadiel stands as proof that things, at least on Earth, have obviously changed....

Marvel’s WandaVision has finally arrived on Disney+! While two episodes kicked things off, there’s so much goodness (and weirdness) packed into each of the episodes that we’re just gonna go one at a time for now. She-Ra prided itself on subverting expectations, from the character designs and animation style to its studied unwillingness to ride on He-Man’s coattails and its wonderful commitment to representation and diversity. Netflix’s Masters of the Universe: Revelation, on the other hand, has the stated purpose of being a direct sequel to the original animated series, Filmation’s He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, and both that mission statement and the faithful character designs make it clear this new series has old school fans in mind....

While we wait on further news about Without Remorse and its potential follow-up, here are some of the other irons that Michael B. Jordan has in the fire. A Journal for Jordan As mentioned above, Jordan has often been compared to a young Denzel Washington, and those comparisons should come heavier than ever with Jordan set to star in A Journal from Jordan with Washington as his director. A Journal for Jordan is based on the memoir by Dana Canedy and follows First Sergeant Charles Monroe King as he compiles a 200-page journal for his infant son in case he does not return home from the war in Iraq....

That’s all likely to change with the announcement that Moon Knight is joining the MCU with a TV series coming to Disney+. Here’s a look at the character’s history and long journey to the screen… The Early Days Marc Spector was first introduced as a foil to Marvel’s Werewolf by Night. Moon Knight’s unique look made him popular with fans so Marvel gave the vigilante his own try out in the pages of Marvel Spotlight....

Directed by Daniel Espinosa, Morbius is the latest in Sony’s Spiderverse (which, as of yet, does not feature Spider-Man Tom Holland, save for the Venom: Let There Be Carnage‘s post-credits scene). Leto plays Dr. Michael Morbius, a brilliant scientist who suffers from a rare blood disease. After he performs a transfusion on himself, Morbius becomes a living vampire, cursed with a thirst for blood but given enhanced senses and strength....

Teenagers are naturally reckless, even the most well-meaning among them. When you add in superpowers, the results may be disastrous. So it’s no surprise that following the power Kamala Khan manifested at Avenger Con in the first episode of Ms. Marvel, she would receive the same treatment given to poor Peter Parker and friends in Spider-Man: No Way Home. In the post-credit scene of the Ms. Marvel premier, we see footage of Kamala at Avenger Con being watched by Agent P....

And it was the most fun MST3K has been in a long time. Everyone behind the scenes seemed to feel it too – the adrenaline of a near-disaster. The live post-show chat was filled with jokes about the difficulties of getting the episode to air, with the production team reveling in the mishaps and the occasionally jury-rigged solutions to their newly pared-down budget. “We always gotta make sense out of it, no matter what hand we’re dealt,” series creator and returning host Joel Hodgson tells Den of Geek, elaborating that keeping things DIY and being able to improvise is “a big part of who we are....

And none of that comes close to his impact behind the scenes. Adams, who died last week at the age of 80, was a titan on the page, but he was also one of the first big name creators to pick a fight with Marvel and Warner Brothers and win. And when he beat Warner, it was one of the biggest fights ever. And the prize was no less than Superman....

For starters: shame on you, Netflix. Let the spooky season breathe. But given that this will be a most unusual holiday season due to the coronavirus pandemic, I suppose we can give the streaming giant a pass this time for wanting to get a head start on some Christmas cheer. Just as Netflix’s Halloween offerings were dubbed “Netflix and Chills”, so too does the holiday season get its own Netflix-friendly branding....

The creative team will also include composer Kan Sawada who’s worked on multiple Doraemon films, writer Toh Enjoe, character designer Kazue Kato (who created Blue Exorcist) and animated Eiji Yamamori of Studio Ghibili. The series is set to premiere globally on Netflix in 2021 and we’ve got some great art below to show you from the series below. All of these character designs look fantastic and it’s great to see that we’ll be getting such a large cast for the show....

“We can confirm that the manufacturing of the Nintendo 3DS family of systems has ended,” said a Nintendo spokesperson in a statement to GamesIndustry.biz. “Nintendo and third-party games for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems will continue to be available in Nintendo eShop, on Nintendo.com, and at retail.” First reported by Japanese Nintendo, Nintendo later updated their Japanese and UK websites with a statement that noted they are ceasing production of all 3DS models....

While we’ve heard rumors of an upgraded Nintendo Switch before, this latest report is far more substantial than any we’ve seen in recent years. Besides, few people doubt that Nintendo will eventually release improved Switch hardware. Not only have they previously released upgraded versions of most of their handheld devices, but next-gen hardware from Sony and Microsoft are escalating expectations in a way that the base version of the Switch is going to struggle to keep up with....

The Expansion Pack service (which officially launched last night) has been divisive from the start. While just about everyone assumed that Nintendo would eventually launch a new “tier” for their online service that included access to additional retro titles, fans immediately wondered whether Nintendo would find a way to justify the Expansion Pack’s price ($50 a year compared to the base Switch Online service’s $20 a year subscription fee). Well, initial impressions of the service’s features and functionality suggest that fans may have had good reason to worry about not just the price increase but what they are getting for their money....

Recently, a ResetEra forum user named AshenOne shared a mysterious Steam Database listing for a project known only as “Oregon.” Based on the information they were able to discern from that listing (namely its anticipated category tags and a few key pieces of mined data), they suggested that the project listing was almost certainly a codename for a PC port of the 2021 PS5 exclusive, Returnal. That suggestion sparked a debate among ResetEra users who couldn’t believe that the PlayStation team would bring one of the PS5’s few true exclusives to the PC so soon after its release....

When we last left Outlander at the end of Season 5, the men of Fraser’s Ridge had freed Claire from her abductors and rapists and Marsali had poisoned one of the men behind the attack, while Bree and Roger failed to travel back to the late 1960’s. Season 6 picks up the thread of increased political and social tensions in the colony of North Carolina as the story is now very close to the start of the American Revolution....

“While we do not release details related to manufacturing, the information provided by Bloomberg is false,” says Sony. “We have not changed the production number for PlayStation 5 since the start of mass production.” The report in question from Bloomberg suggested that Sony has lowered its PlayStation 5 production estimates for the upcoming fiscal year by as much as 4 million units.
