If you’ve scrolled around the internet in the last day or two, you might’ve seen folks talking about a little movie called Venom: Let There Be Carnage. With the superhero sequel breaking box office records over the weekend, and ending on a cliffhanger that seems to tease we’ll finally get some proper Spider-Man on symbiote action in the MCU, there’s a lot out there for genre fans to unpack. Yet one of the most curious mysteries about Eddie Brock’s cinematic battle with Cletus Kasady is the literal carnage it left in its wake....

During a recent interview, WandaVision star Elizabeth Olsen teased that we’re about to see a Mandalorian-level cameo happen in the Marvel series. Without fully spoiling the cameo she was referencing, it was a fan favorite from the Star Wars franchise who emerged in Mando’s Season 2 finale. WandaVision featuring some notable guest stars hasn’t been a massive secret up until now, and a report that arrived way, way ahead of the premiere suggested that Evan Peters was about to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe, though it wasn’t known if the actor would play the X-Men version of Pietro Maximoff/Quicksilver or not in the Disney+ show....

Warrior Season 2 Episode 5 The episode opens with Li Yong (Joe Taslim) doing some shirtless Kung Fu but the scene is too short to determine what style he is doing. Perhaps it’s something just made up for Warrior. Taslim’s background is in in Judo, not Kung Fu, but that doesn’t matter. He looks great doing whatever he’s doing and it’s a promising opening for this episode. The previous two episodes lacked enough Kung Fu to satisfy dedicated Bruce Lee fans....

Warrior Season 2 Episode 7 This episode picks up right where the last one left off – Young Jun (Jason Tobin), Ah Sahm (Andrew Koji), and Hong (Chen Tang) return from their successful mission to face Father Jun’s (Perry Young) wrath. The Jun father-son relationship has been trying since the beginning, and it comes to a head when Father Jun blackballs his son from the Hop Wei with a ritual to ‘burn’ him out....

Well, Doctor Manhattan isn’t always right because HBO’s Watchmen really did just end with its thrilling finale, “See How They Fly.” While the prospects of a Watchmen season 2 should seem quite likely given the show’s success, creator Damon Lindelof made clear that this first batch of episodes was designed to tell a complete story. Quantic Dream, of course, is the developer behind celebrated interactive adventure titles like Heavy Rain and Fahrenheit, but also the controversial company that just lost a libel lawsuit against French outlet Mediapart (while winning another against the publication Le Monde) after reports and claims of an unsafe, toxic workplace were lodged at the studio in 2018. Not that a studio’s skeletons have stopped Disney and Lucasfilm from working with companies like Electronic Arts and Ubisoft in the past, but Quantic Dream seems like an odd choice even from a gameplay perspective....

As massive and fruitful as The Walking Dead franchise has been for AMC over the past eleven years, its imminently-ending mothership series has been without main character Rick Grimes since 2018’s Season 9. While the absence was a result of star Andrew Lincoln’s exit, the grievously-wounded Rick escaped expected martyrdom to be kept afloat, quite literally, via helicopter in a move that set up surprise movie projects. Now, over three years later, spinoff The Walking Dead: World Beyond has the first update on our misplaced protagonist, thanks to the return of a certain former junk-dwelling hipster....

There’s no better example of the Resident Evil franchise’s bizarre release timeline than the strange case of Resident Evil: Code Veronica. First released for the Dreamcast in February 2000, Code Veronica has long been seen as an anomaly in the RE franchise by many. It’s not hard to see why. Like The Walking Dead, the human characters of Black Summer are both capable and dangerous in their own respects. Unlike The Walking Dead, however, Black Summer’s zombies remain the biggest threat. There is no sanctuary for the survivors in Black Summer, and even in the safest of situations, it’s only a matter of time before something goes wrong....

On February 3rd, Nintendo of America tweeted that Pokémon Legends: Arceus had sold over 6.5 million copies worldwide in its first week. According to CNET, this is a veritable record-shattering performance, as Pokémon Sword and Shield only pushed 6 million copies in their first week. Moreover, in Japan, Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the second best-selling Nintendo Switch game ever (via Siliconera/Famitsu). Admittedly, the race to the top isn’t over yet, as the prior titles, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, have sold around 13....

With so many appearances and big special about to air, could this be the sign that there’s trouble and Darkwing Duck needs to be called in for his own spinoff? We spoke with DuckTales Executive Producer Matt Youngberg and Co-Executive Producer Frank Angones and both were evasive in their answers. However they did say that the ultimate goal of every new (or old) character appearing in DuckTales is thinking about what more could be done with them....
